I have always loved sewing and made clothes for my family from my own designs since a young teenager. However NCEATA has introduced me to the creative possibilities of fabric and thread. Now I work with hand dyed fabric, painted dyework and digital embroidery in combination with all my sewing and drafting skills but as a medium for artistic expression.
